Automated MOT testing

MOT testing is carried out in Durham's first Automated Test Lane where most of the measurements regarding brakes and suspension are taken automatically, thus greatly increasing the accuracy of the MOT test.

Purpose built automated testing facility

Well lit area for underside inspection
The Automated Test Lane has the capacity to deal with in excess of 12 tests per day. On-demand and while-you-wait tests are available but to avoid delay always telephone first.

Any vehicle that does fail its MOT test can have repairs carried out in our main workshop adjoining the Automated Test Lane.
